Well, since we're currently constructing a new spawn for Pawncraft, and we get numerous complaints about this world having too much water, would you like us to start fresh when 1.3 releases in August?

It is possible, like we did last time, to move over creations.

Emeralds/Emerald blocks will be in 1.3, and they'll only appear in territory when it's being generated, i.e. not the old map, though they'd be able to be expensively obtained through trade with villagers. Dunno if that's enough incentive for a new map, but I thought I'd point it out.

I am also a fan of this. Change is always good. But just to reiterate, towns and cities in development should be able to be moved over. Although how this works will yet to be decided.

    I think many people will have gripes with this;
Let me ensure you guys, the best way to fully utilize the update would be to have a map reset.

No items to be copied or buildings, only Spawn and affiliated buildings.

We could do something like "Towny Tokens" If you had a town before you can claim it at any given point that you want?

I will be doing a shit-tonne of competitions once I get myself up and running and will be giving up to 90% of my goods away so people feel happy about the map reset and are given the chance to "get their stuff back" :DD
    I fully support the idea.

Map reset, I think change is always good, but as last time, with the opportunity to get towns/creations copied over. :D

I think the current spawn house is just fine. Doesnt need to be changed and can be copied over.
Its going to be a BITCH to dig out Lemuria again.. But i still support a map reset. Lest buildings can be copied over again + chests and the works.

we have a ton of good buildings, towns and the like, sure, but when does that limit us? perhaps with so many large settlements and clans, the trends have already been set and new ppl comply with them as opposed to making new clans or (successful) towns. A hard reset with just spawn carried onto the new map gives everyone a creative perspective again. I think however that everything made should go into a (past work map) accessable via the cross map/portal mechanic and viewable at any time. Kinda like a hall of past achievements.

I've made my opinion on resets known in the past. I'm still a fan. I look at it as a chance to help make a new world. Every map reset has pushed me to build bigger and (I think) better things. I'm also getting tired of making new land for my town.

Nice! Where is the complex for storing our "Take over" things in?

And yes. I LOVE this idea! I love whenever we get a new map! It's a whole new treasure trove of possibility!

This is what there is so far, it was completely hand built, all the supplies were gathered and placed by hand, no world edit or copying anywhere. Please tell me it can come to the new map, it is SO close to finished.

lol. There does appear to be a rather large amount of water and/or water related biomes on this map.

I think new worlds are good because it'll completely change the layout of the world. This could [in theory] make some cool new mountains or valleys or whatever, which could potentially give people new, or better, ideas of what to build. Which ultimately would make the world more interesting and entertaining.

But still copy buildings and stuff over. ;)
