Why should you be allowed to build in the Creative world: As im a very creative person, i prefer to make inventions such as: night and day detctors and piston things.

thiis is my bridge that by day it allows you to walk across using a night and day detector. and a nor latch. it also lights up the floor lights. it used an xor gate that allows a lever to open and close it also. by night the bridge opens and the lights turn on. all by the little villager in his little house. i have made many contraptions like this. but i didnt manage to get a picture as i deleted them. but i have made whole villages light up under the floor and a way of making street lights. ( i have never used a mod in any of these. just my own knowlage of redstone).

Wait, you can make day and night detectors in vanilla Minecraft? You said no mods, right?

Anyway, while I'm fascinated with the potential here, the screenshots really aren't doing justice to what you describe. Can you oblige me with a few more. (Since you said the bridge operates, perhaps show it in both open and closed positions? Maybe show me the nest of redstone wiring needed to make it work?)

You can use villagers to get a day/night detector. Make a house for them and surround it with a pen. When it's night they go inside, triggering some sort of pressure plate or similar and when it's day they go back outside again, leaving the device unpowered.

Thank you for explaining that. I hadn't considered that at all.

And I'm sorry I didn't notice the difference in the bridge earlier, Pinky. Please still try to show me a little something more though, as I'm incredibly curious about any sort of redstone contraption.

Okay. I'll allow it. Redstone can be a pain, i like the way the bridge works, you taught me about day/night sensors, and you obviously put in a fair amount of effort on the video.

I can't give you the permissions yet, as I'm in the middle of doing post-production work on a photo shoot, but I'll get to it as soon as I can.
