Are you going to play with shadows to give it any sort of depth?

You could still do drop shadows with Photoshop.

True but with Cinema 4d you are able to create universal lighting far easier since you are creating one 3d object.

Oh, I didn't realize you were doing this as a 3D object. I just figured you'd use global light with a few layers in Photoshop.

Quick update. Still working on it; still trying different ideas, and different textures for all items. Any thoughts? But what is so far:

Note: This is a Photoshop version; Cinema 4D takes longer.

My only gripe is that the "a" in Pawncraft looks like an o.

I don't really want to comment on the rest of it until I see the 3D version, as I imagine that'll look better anyway.

Alright no problem. The 3D version will most likely be different; two different artists. ProSpect, and I have been talking, and we might make a few choices for people if they want to have a preference.

I know it's a trivial thing, but for some reason I'd prefer to see the server name on the left-hand side of the banner.

Here is the Cinema 4D version. Few things: the signature in it was not made for the border so it looks stretched; We lost the "minecraft" feel I think. But anyways, just comment. Maybe we are trying too complex; thus I may try a very simple idea. FYI: Sorry about the grey background ;p

Im no graphics expert but i also like the idea of a more simple pixaly minecrafty border, imo your overcomplecating the borders, they are fantastic but there taking all the focus away from the sig itself

I'd agree - the graphics look really cool, but I'd think the sig should be the focal point and the border could be simple, just enough to tie different people's sigs together...

The embossed effect on the pickaxes is a little heavy and the font you used for Pawncraft is a little too fancy and hard to read. Other than that, it's a vast improvement and feels much more Minecraft-y.
