I need a list for stuff that i need to do - This list is mostly for my thinking and for myself ^^ so this does not necessary have anything to do with the minecraft server but more for the whole server.

    ---- (Done) ----
    • OS migration
      • change the pawncraft server from physical to a virtual server. (Done)
      • Install virtual enviroment instead of ubuntu (Done)
      • activate the pawncraft virtual server (Done)
        • Pawncraft world and Pekkit world including the forum (Done)
    • Seperate the servers (Done, with small changes from plan)
      • Mainworld (Done)
        Pekkit (Done)
        Forum (Done)
    • Activate secondary servers (Done)
      • LAB1 - test server - Project Messer (Done)
      • LAB2 - test server - StarScore (on-hold)
      • OG - Other games server - Pawned (up and running Team fortress2 and CS:GO) (Done)
    • New firewall: FW1 (Done)
      • Choose and configure the firewall (Will not be named for security reasons) (Done)
    • De-load router (changes and moving ahead of schedule) (Done)
      • LAB1 to FW1 (Done)
      • Evaluate before going further (use test MC world in LAB2) (Due to special circumstances changes was made, MC world has been tested with a singel user in LAB1 since LAB2 isnt up.)
      • Move Mainworld, Pekkit and forum to FW1 pipe (Done)
    • Move router
      • verify IPs possible IP change, get static IP (Done)
      • Change main connection from router to FW1 (moving ahead of schedule) (in-progress)
        • Router will now work as a internal router for my workstations and wireless. (Almost)

    ----------

    Other stuff
    • Changes to chassi (Done)
      • Change from the big chassi to the Cooler master fulltower for better and more silent airflow (Done)
      • Changed server fans to silent ones, directly controlled by motherboard (Done)
    • Upgrade NAS with more drives, only 200GB Left (Done)
      • Buy more drives, 1x1T more for the NAS (Done)
      • 2-4 x 2T for the server(depending on setup and prices) (Re-evaluate)
        • (Changed) 6 x 1TB (Done)
    • Setup the backup, storage area for the server.
      • Preparing NAS for Archive/backup (in-progress)
    • Secondary server: (Re-evaluate)
      • Get parts/buy stuff for a secondary server
        • to test cluster setup
also act as a temp MC server for Pawncraft
      • Specifikations
        • "Normal" computer (No server hardware)
        • DIMM DDR III : 16-32GB
        • CPU: I5 or I7
        • Graphic card: Geforce GTX600 or similar for testing with 3D in virtual servers
    • New Switch (on-hold)
      • Info: at this time a new switch is needed
    • Check the possibility to be a sponsor/host for the local E-sport community, they need a minecraft server. (on-hold)
      • Some older hardware has already been given.
      • evaluate demands for Setup a Virtual MC server, possible basic player ground ?
        • They would like to have full control over the server. (will be given a blank OS of their choice)
          • Their own people administrating it
          • The server will be their own territory and the Pawncraft team do not need to help either with setup or watching over it.
    • Nagios (Re-evaluate)
      • install and setup a Nagios server for monitor and alarms of different traps for all servers
        • All servers must have connection to this, (even LAB servers: CPU and memory traps)
    • NTP server (get a working server work and sync all to it) (on-hold)
    • Turnkey updated to version 12, check if we need to update (Changed)

Updating: "De-load router" is moving ahead of schedule in a rush because of special circumstances.
small Minecraft server test was taking place behind FW1.

FW1:MACs is done, PORTs are done,
a final De-load router is taking place probably later today. 10-15min break of connection. if not up after 15min I will step back to old settings until next test.

LAB1 is not ready for project messer, its on hold because of the above.
    LAB2 setup is on hold

    Router move:
FW1 is using same MAC as router, so IP shouldn't change. hopefully

    De-router, failed.
and got new ip, need to doublecheck the MAC, otherwise order one static IP from ISP for 4pound in month.

where not able to get the connection outwards to work, new approach is needed. rushing things isnt always working :/

also, while changing around the MineOS system didnt like ip changes and (probably) got borked, took a while before it got fixed. Be careful! make sure pawned is on standby

    -----
need to check afterwork on what got wrong and what i should do ^^

Also tested the NTP server function, didnt work as expected, more testing is needed.

Also got a notification that Turnkey have updated to version 12, take a look if needed and possible update time frame on this is over a month away. not even sure we need it.

Seriously? That's fabulous. Now if I go off about photography, at least one person should be able to follow that I'm going on about.

Eh dont count on it. My 'teacher' on the subject has never given any helpful instructions.

Basically he went. " Just fiddle with it, till something nice enough shows up." Its the reason why I STILL don't fucking understand any of the settings on my Nikon. And I would love to get more proper practice but my attention span doesn't allow it. =( Even if asked direct questions as; "How do I get this and this effect in a photo, with what settings?" The answer was; "Go fiddle".

Very few of the many photo's I took made me kinda proud that it looked somewhat decent. I'd show you, but I dont think I'd be able to take the criticism xD.

So. If you give online courses on photography, sign me up.

I don't give courses on it, but I'd be willing to try and teach you a bit of what I know informally. I think I posted a photography thread a while ago for Banker. It should still be around somewhere. I'll see if I can bump it in order to have a dedicated place to discus it.

Just to give you a bit of background, I've been playing with a camera since I got my first SLR for my 16th birthday. (It was a Canon AE-1 that I still have.) I majored in it in college before my grants dried up, and then I worked as a photojournalist for the US Navy for five years. Now that I'm back in school, I'm still working on developing my photographic skills and I'm even playing with some very old photographic techniques now.
I know a hell of a lot about cameras, how they work, and why things are labeled the way they are. Because of this, it's entirely possible that I'll talk above your head, thinking that you're following me. (I know, I know. That isn't exactly a big surprise.) Don't hesitate to stop me on a tangent or to ask me to clarify something.
