I loved this thread from the old forums. So I'd like to kick it off again!

I have "robot ears", so I love techno. I'm really diggin DubStep stuff. Particularly Skrillex and his works:

Frank Sinatra's the bomb. simple as that

EDIT: The old media link no longer works. The guy who posted it made it private. I switched to a different song/video.
Also, It is not frank sinatra in the picture, It's Bobby Darrin for some insane reason.

Agreed, Frank is the man! As far as oldies go, you can't have Frank without Bing. Cant wait to bust out the old movies and watch em in the winter time with all the snow on the ground!

Sorry if I come off as rude, but I absolutely hate dubstep. It has to be the music I hate the most. That said, there have been a couple dubstep songs I've liked. I can't really remember who they were by, but they certainly weren't as mainstream as Skrillex.

Techno, on the other hand, is something I enjoy. Sadly, I don't have any techno on my playlist. Well, I have some hardcore techno and speedcore (Thanks Sushi and Psy xD).

The rest of my playlist is filled with Post-Hardcore and Metal.

Pawned, I agree with you that the music can ruin DubStep. There are many many songs that I'm not enjoying because of the song. Nothing wrong with the remix, just horrible song to do it to.

I'll have to get with Sushi regarding some of the other types of Techno out there. I've been out of the loop for awhile now and to find some good stuff would be great. Oh, I do love Avicii's Levels. My fav song right now!

You misunderstand. I hate dubstep, fullstop. I meant to state it's the genre of music I hate most. Just the thought of having bass as the main aspect of the song makes me cringe.

EDIT: Was just shown this... it's... surprisingly awesome. Reggae metal, who'd of thought it?

Oh, neat. I saw Turisas live, and you could tell they really enjoy what they are doing.

I looked up "get with someone" on Urban Dictionary, and it said: "going out with someone or pulling someone, can be with same or other sex." Probably not what you ment. =P

Anything specific in mind? My interest in Electronica comes and goes, but the last time I had a major injection of electronic basses I could not turn off Rhythmic Noise (which is a genre):
    Sonar - Hostage

But I guess that is way off the charts.

Country music is way worse. I agree, though, Dubstep is so boring. Wop wop wooooop. What is even worse is when it comes together with fucking pop vocals (Skrillex).

    Infested - Metaphysical Grotesqueries

Fixed. You'd be surprised, but there's even good Hip Hop. (Hey, Psy!)

    :oops::oops::oops::oops::oops::oops::oops::oops::oops:

I agree more now. I've listened to the "Skrillex" station on Pandora, and I'm not happy with ALL the other stuff he's done. I'm not impressed anymore. I still love Cinema though.

I had to break out some of my old school hardcore:

Although I was listening to the soundtrack for the new Muppet movie before that.
This part was completely hilarious when I saw it in the theater:

(This video is also sort of a preview for the flick.)

And now that I've been thinking of how happy the Muppets made me, I had to pop in something a little less aggressive like Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin:
